A room starts to get its identity as soon as you paint the walls or apply the wallpaper. So some wallpaper with a bold pattern or color could definitely make your bathroom stand out. You can experiment with all sorts of combinations using swatches and find the one that you think would best suit your bathroom. The bathroom is one of those rooms where you feel more connected to nature in comparison with the living room or bedroom. So you can exploit this concept and try to use natural materials such as stone or rocks to create a small pathway on your bathroom’s floor. It would be just for decor and it would have a very nice impact. A vintage vanity.
2. Maybe you have cute, bright bath toys. Then you could easily store them on a shelf, out in the open! The toys can double as décor for the kids’ bathroom, which ultimately simplifies your life and adds fun color to your space. A word of caution with this strategy: make sure you limit the number of bath toys, so that the shelves don’t become a free-for-all junk drop. Two or three larger toys might just be all you (or your children) need in the tub.
1. You could house all bath toys in a plastic laundry basket on the bottom shelf of a cabinet. (Of course, roll-out drawers are a bonus for accessibility, like those seen here, but not always a possibility.) One of the reasons this is a good idea is because your kids can access the toys they want to play with prior to playing in the tub, and they can also help put them away after bathtime.
Remember when shower curtains weren’t fashionable and they only came in a few colors and styles? What was once associated with college dorms and small apartments have now become fashionable and attractive. Depending on your bathroom decor a ruffled fabric will work nicely with your romantic-inspired bathroom or a high contrast colored variety will match the rest of your sleek and modern bathroom nicely. Shower curtains can be pulled back to add visual space to your bathroom interiors and pep up you interiors styling.
