John Scofield - Uberjam

Uberjam is incredibly funky and very psychedelic. I listened to this a bunch of time before taking Jazz Improvisation, and have chosen to listen to it 3 times because I enjoy listening to it so much. Compared to "A Go Go", this one has a more natural down to earth vibe coming, with different combinations of instruments, such as the sitar. The entire mood casted over the CD is very transcendental. Scofield's driven electric tone is perfect for the almost oriental feel of the album.
