John Scofield - Up All Night
My impression of Scofield's "Up All Night" CD isn't held in the height regards. Compared to his other CD's this one is heavy on the bass and drums, and lacking melody. Alot of the effects on this album seem too abstract and don't lead to the overall theme of the music. There are still some good points in the album, but overall I was unimpressed, and felt like he never really grabbed my attention, and made me say, "wow, thats cool" like his other albums I've listened to.
