Medeski, Martin and Wood - End of The World Party

The title of the CD helps explain it alot. If I were at a party for the end of the world, this would be it. Alot of MMW CD's make me want to get up and start dancing or grooving around. I really like CD's that have the entire feel all the way through, which this has an eerie feel of making me get up to go out and do something. In the spring of 2005 I went to a MMW show in Milwaukee that featured this CD playing many of the hits and it was one of my favorite concerts from the drawn out psychedelic jams, to the pure improvisational skill of the MMW trio. Medeski's grooves in this CD are extremely powerful and precise.
