Pat Metheny - The Road to You
This is a live CD from the Pat Metheny Group, which was recorded in 1993. You can hear the audience clap before certain songs. Metheney's guitar is very distinctive, and he plays very beautiful runs of scales. Metheney's electric guitar sounds different on each song, probably due to his vast array of guitars and effects that he runs them through. Some of the songs are a little slow, and loose my attention at times. I guess I like the more in your face jazz than the subtle smooth jazz that is exhibited alot. Alot of the slow songs have very nice melodies, and really paint pictures in your mind of wandering through meadows, or just relaxing.
