Truman's Gulch Mountain Biking

Truman Gulch

Truman Gulch, nestled on the west side of the Bridger Range is a steep climb to the top and a quick rocky ride down. Trumans Gulch is by far my favorite mountain bike ride, and is only 15 minutes from Bozeman City. The bottom of the trail is very smooth, however as you get further to the top, the grade increases and becomes steep and gets rocky, making cool rock drop offs. The very top of the trail leads to a meadow with a large rock face. You an continue up the meadow, however we usually turn around and begin our descent at the bottom of the meadow. The ascent usually takes around an hour and a half, and the down ride is usually 15 minutes of adrenaline packed fun, easily one of my favorite mountain bike rides, you probably want a full suspension bike on this trail from all the rock drop offs.
